Another quick but somewhat important update, I'm going to be moving to New York City over the next few weeks! Which is why there have been very little updates as far as artwork goes, contrary to what I had planned, preparation for this move along with many other unexpected issues, have swallowed up most of my time this spring and summer. Really, the last 6 months or so have been very strange for me. However I'm very much looking forward this this move and am totally excited. There is so much wonderful creative energy and inspiration in and around NYC, it's such fun visiting there that I can't wait to see what actually living there will be like.
The other reason I am making this post though, is because I want to let you all know that because of this move, I'm going to be temporary closing my website and Etsy shop for a few weeks until I'm somewhat settled. So if anyone wants to buy something at the moment, please do so before next Friday, the 13th of August (ha, Friday the 13th, that didn't hit me until as I was typing this). Both shops should be ready to reopen around the second or third week of September, but since moving can sometimes be a bit of a roller coaster, I don't want to toss an exact reopening date out there just yet. But I have a few neat new items just waiting to be unveiled (including the pin brooches I previewed below), when the shop does reopen, as well as a couple prints.
